Snookball is a hybrid sport that blends pool with football.
The principle of the game is based on pool, but the balls are replaced by footballs and the cue by a pair of shoes. The name Snookball comes from a legendary pool move: the snooker, which occurs when a player is obstructed from taking a shot in a straight line by an opponent's ball. When a player faced with this situation successfully pots their own ball by sending it in a curve over the opponent's ball, this is called a Snookball. If a Snookball is successful, the player who made the shot can take one of the balls that their opponent has already pocketed and put it back in play.
There is a dress code: whatever you are wearing when you come to play. That is one of the other features that makes Snookball different
For playing Snookball, 2 different types of size 3 balls are required:
- A weighted ball for the white ball
- Unweighted balls for the other balls (American and pool)
The official balls for this new sport have been developed by the OKAWA brand.
These balls are made to look like pool balls in order to maintain the visual appearance of the sport. You can play with size 4 balls to make the game even harder, to make the fun last longer
There is no need for football shirts, studded trainers or even shorts when playing Snookball.
Official rules for a universal sport.
